No matter what your New Year’s resolutions involve, a regular yoga and meditation practice has the power to transform you and the life that you are now living. And when we make a conscious effort to spend time every day becoming more aware of our bodies and minds – we also become more aware of our actions off our mats. You will set yourself up for success if you take action to regularly schedule yoga and meditation into your life. Create a regular time and space where you can roll out your mat and set a clear intention for your goal as take your class.
Once you have established your routine and dedication to incorporate yoga and meditation regularly, these habits will eventually begin to affect your life off the mat in the most incredible way. And even if you just start out with 10 minutes of daily meditation, you are contributing to your goals and creating positive change for yourself and your life!
No matter how you begin, yoga builds awareness for transformation. If you want to be more present in the way you live your life; if you want the clarity to manifest your intentions and goals; if you want to be healthier and more active; or if you want to cultivate calm and the ability to better handle stress….these things can manifest from a regular yoga and meditation practice.
The more you meditate and get on your mat, the more aware of your body and mind you will become, and therefore be more in control of your state of mind and thought process. This leads to an ability to determine the things you would like to strengthen or improve within yourself, and create positive change in these areas.
So let’s make 2022 our best year by dedicating our time to loving ourselves and strengthening our yoga and meditation practice. Little by little we will effect huge change in our lives. All we need is a clear intention. Keep reminding yourself of your intention, be clear about how to live out that intention, and then do something every day that aligns with your intention.
